In Germany two of the biggest supermarkets, Edeka and Aldi have announced that they will ban dairy products from year round tied cows. Lidl will partly ban it. Several German retailers started in 2021 labelling own brand milk as from non-tied cows. Lidl states it only sells milk of German origin, Aldi has also announced to do so after 2024.
