In Germany the France headquartered private dairy Danone will close its Rosenheim site in the southern state Bavaria on July 31, 2021. There are around 200 dairy farms and 150 employees involved. On the site are produced fresh milk products and fresh cheeses but the site needs too high investments for modernisation to be profitable. A role here plays that dairy products that are produced on the site meet strong completion of vegan products, according to Danone. Danone will keep open its other German site, in Ochsenfurt, Bavaria
