Dutch dairy farms delivered in 2021 13.6 million tonnes milk to dairies. Adjusted to the 2020 leap day this was 2.8 percent less than in 2020 and was the lowest volume since the end of the milk quota system. In 2016, the first full year after abolishment of the milk quota system Dutch dairy farms delivered an all-time high volume of 14.3 million tonnes milk to dairies.
