In Holland dairy cooperative Royal FrieslandCampina intends to discontinue the powder production at two Dutch plants, in Dronrijp and Gerkesklooster. One of the plants (Donrijp) will be closed, the other plant, in Gerkesklooster will continue to produce other dairy products such as cheese. With this measure 57 people will lose their jobs.
