-in the milk year 2020-2021, red-and-white dairy cows achieved a productive lifespan of 40.0 months when carried off. That is 1.6 months more than black-and-white cows.
-in the milk year 2020-2021 black-and-white Holstein Friesian cows produced an average of 31074 kilograms of milk when carried off. That is 1000 kilograms more than one year before.
– there was in 2021 a number of 7929 black and white Holstein Friesian cows and 670 red and white HF cows that had produced more than 100000 kilogram milk.
-in 2021 of the Brown Swiss dairy cows 15.4 percent had produced more than 50000 kilogram milk, of the black and white HF dairy cows 15.0 percent, of the red and white HF herd 13.4 percent and of the Fleckvieh herd 9.6 percent.
-in 2021 the five most used red and white Holstein Friesian sires where genetically hornless. Of the 15 most used black and white HF sires were six genetically hornless.
