In Germany at the Grüne Woche (Green Week), which is a main international trade fair for food, agriculture and horticulture, Greenpeace has demonstrated against the environmental pollution caused by the dairy industry (milk processors), especially CO2 emissions. According to Greenpeace, the dairy industry in Germany emits the most CO2 after the steel industry. However, Greenpeace cannot prove this with independent figures.
