In Holland in 2020, 2021 and 2022 regular dairy farms realized average a margin of 4.6 eurocent per kilogram milk compared to 2,3 eurocent per kilogram milk by organic dairy farms. During this period average farmers organic milk price was 8.4 eurocent per kilogram milk more than regular milk price but production costs of organic milk price was average 17 eurocent per kilogram milk more.
