Ireland: costs of keeping a dairy cow have increased

In Ireland the average cost of keeping a dairy cow in 2022 will be 2218 euro, including the costs of a replacement heifer but exclusive costs of own land and own labour. This is more than 550 euro or 33 percent or 9.5 eurocent per litre milk production more than in 2021. Source: Teagasc
