In Ireland the dairy cooperative Lakeland will close three plants to enhance efficiency and will invest in the retained sites to add capabilities. Because of the closure almost 80 people will lose their job. Lakeland has 3200 farm members who produce 2 billion (10*9) litres of milk annually.
