Switzerland: cow infected with spontaneously atypical BSE

In Switzerland for the first time since 2020 a cow has been detected as being infected with bovine spongiform encephalopathy (BSE). The 13 years old cow was emergency slaughtered and a test during destruction showed that she had been infected with spontaneously atypical BSE.
