In Holland analyses of production data of 200000 cows milked by robot, done by Wageningen University and breeding organization CRV shows that day by day differences in volume of milk production or a more stable milk production can be of genetic origin. Cows with a more stable milk production also have more often genetically less udder problems and less metabolic problems. Cows with a more stable production often get a higher age.
