In Holland the dairy cooperative Royal FrieslandCampina is in the western province Northern-Holland looking for 80 dairy farmers that will produce milk under the label ‚On the Way to PlanetProof‘ that will be used for producing Northern-Holland cheese. Last year RFC cut the number of farms in the eastern part of Holland that produce PlanetProof milk. RFC stated that for logistic reasons it is looking for PlanetProof delivering farms in a more west region of the country. PlanetProof milk meets strict requirements for animals, nature and climate and farms receive a bonus of 2.5 eurocent per kilogram milk.
