In Denmark the dairy cooperative Arla has opened a new innovation centre with a total size of 9000 square meter with including laboratories for clinical trials, a pilot plant and offices. The centre will house up to 100 scientists and technicians. The centre is also designed to create synergies between leading university researchers, PhD students and industry professionals. Partners will include academic institutions in Denmark and overseas, as well as technology suppliers and customers in the food and nutrition industries.
